Rotawise shows hours only; it does not calculate pay, tax or overtime entitlements.

Privacy policy

Last updated 31 October 2026

Rotawise does not collect, store or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone, in the app's own storage. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics and no tracking.

Rotawise stores your rotation, partner overlay and pay-period settings only on your iPhone, in the app's own storage, and never sends them anywhere: it has no account, no analytics, no ads and no network connection. If you choose to add shifts to your calendar, Rotawise asks for full calendar access so it can create its own "Rotawise" calendar and later update or remove the shifts it added. It only looks up the calendar and events it created, never changes your other events, and never sends calendar data anywhere. You can remove everything it added at any time from the app's Setup screen.

Deleting the app deletes all of its data. If your iPhone backs up to iCloud, your entries are part of that backup, which Apple protects under its own privacy policy.

If this ever changes, for example if the app starts showing ads, this page will be updated before the new version is released, and the App Store listing will say which data is used.
