Privacy policy

Last updated 25 October 2026

Readpile does not collect, store or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone, in the app's own storage. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics and no tracking.

When you search for a book, the text you type is sent to Open Library (openlibrary.org), a free book catalogue run by the Internet Archive, to find titles and covers. Nothing else is sent, and the search is not linked to you.

Deleting the app deletes all of its data. If your iPhone backs up to iCloud, your entries are part of that backup, which Apple protects under its own privacy policy.

If this ever changes, for example if the app starts showing ads, this page will be updated before the new version is released, and the App Store listing will say which data is used.
